Contact Lens Services

We handle all major brands of contact lenses and do not believe that "one size fits all." If you are a contact lens wearer, we will assess your eye health with your current contact lenses and cleaning solution. Healthy eyes are comfortable eyes, and Dr. Ford believes you should have both. He will assess the health of your eye lids, test your tear production, and discuss with you important aspects of your contact lenses, such as how long you wear them each day.

New contact lens patients will go through a similar evaluation process, as well as additional processes to determine the proper size and type of contact lenses that will be best for your eyes. One of our friendly staff will then sit down with you and go over the proper procedures of inserting and removing your lenses. We will also show you how to properly clean and take care of your lenses. Then we will schedule a follow-up visit to ensure that your lenses continue to fit properly.

Dirty contacts and over-wearing of contacts are the leading causes of eye infections. This can all be prevented by proper care of your lenses.
