Comprehensive Eye Exams for Spectacles & Contact Lenses
A Comprehensive Eye Exam (recommended yearly) includes a refraction (an evaluation to determine how best to correct your vision), evaluation of eye movement and focusing, color blindness evaluation, evaluation of how the eyes process information together, and a brief neurological evaluation of your pupil and eye movements.
An opthalmoscopy is a very safe, non-contact examination of the inside of the eye and retina, which can be done with your eyes either dilated or not dilated. About 80% of patients are dilated for this procedure.

Complete Glaucoma Services
Dr. Ford is fully credentialed and qualified to treat all glaucoma types. He has five to six hundred active glaucoma patients undergoing various treatments, including topical drops and oral medications. Dr. Ford often seeks outside consults with specialists. If drops and medications do not work, there are alternative treatments, such as laser surgery to lower ocular pressure.
Cataract Care (Pre- & Post-operative)
Dr. Ford has been working with cataract patients since 1980. For nearly 30 years, he has co-managed cataract surgery with some of the best qualified surgeons in the area. Cataract surgery is one of the most prevalent surgeries, and with correct selection of the surgeon, patient follow-up, and correct usage of eye drops, there are very few complications.
