Dr. Reagan Ford

A graduate of Delta State University and the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Reagan Ford began his first practice in 1977 in Starkville. Having outgrown two previous locations, we now have a newly remodeled office, dispensary, and full-service lab—in fact, it is the only free standing dispensary in Starkville. Dr. Ford has been married to his wife Linda for 48 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren. In practice for over 40 years Dr. Ford loves the work he does so much that he feels that he hasn’t had to work a day in his life. After receiving his degree from Delta State he began a career in teaching and coaching at North Sunflower Academy. After two years he decided to take a different career path in life to become an Optometrist. He was accepted into the optometry program in 1973 at Southern College of Optometry. When Dr. Ford graduated he and his family decided to open their own practice. He has been voted Starkville’s Best Eye Doctor several times over the years; he is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Mississippi Optometric Association. When Dr. Ford is not at the office he enjoys spending his free time working in his yard, playing with his grandchildren, and going duck hunting.
